CivicsPal Privacy Policy

The short version: CivicsPal collects nothing.

CivicsPal is a 100% offline app. It makes no network requests, includes no third-party SDKs, uses no analytics or advertising identifiers, does not require or offer an account, and does not track you in any way — inside or outside the app.

What we don't collect

• No personal information (name, email, location, contacts, photos)
• No usage analytics or crash reports sent to us or anyone else
• No advertising identifiers, no ad network, no ads
• No device identifiers transmitted anywhere

In-app purchase

CivicsPal offers a single one-time purchase, processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Your payment details are handled by Apple; the developer never receives or stores your card number, billing address, or Apple ID.

Microphone and answer recordings

The optional spoken-answer practice feature uses the microphone to record your own answer so you can play it back to yourself. Recordings stay only on your device, are never uploaded or transmitted anywhere (the app has no network capability), only your most recent recording is kept, and you can delete it at any time with one tap. Microphone access is requested only when you first use this feature, and the app works fully without it.

Data stored on your device

Your practice progress, mistake list, and favorites are stored locally on your device (and, if you enable iCloud backup at the system level, included in your own iCloud backup like any other app data). We have no access to this data, on your device or anywhere else.

Children's privacy

CivicsPal is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.

「口答訓練」是選用功能,會用麥克風把你的回答錄下來,再放給你自己聽。錄音只保存在你的裝置上,永遠不會上傳或傳送到任何地方(本 App 沒有任何網路功能);只保留最近一條,你隨時可以一鍵刪除。只有第一次使用這個功能時才會請求麥克風權限,不給權限也不影響 App 其他功能。

存在你裝置上的資料

你的練習進度、錯題本與收藏都只存在你自己的裝置上(若你在系統層開啟 iCloud 備份,這些資料會像其他 App 資料一樣包含在你自己的 iCloud 備份裡)。無論在你的裝置上或任何地方,我們都無法存取這些資料。

兒童隱私

CivicsPal 不是針對兒童設計的產品,也不會刻意收集任何人的資料。
